  • Under the authority of the VP of Credit and Sr. Credit Supervisor, the Credit and Collection Analyst supports the Credit/Risk team as well as the Accounts Receivable team.
  • Manage the credit application process through uploading to system.
  • Analyze customer credit worthiness through credit reports, trade references and industry information
  • Perform Customer Master Data maintenance.
  • Lead Project driven Credit initiatives of Acquisitions and Mergers.
  • Manage assigned portfolio of major accounts
  • Ensure timely resolution and clean-up of overdue items, disputes and deductions
  • Resolve issues and disputes; escalate as required.
  • Make appropriate decisions on order releases following the credit policy.
  • Perform monthly reports.
  • Assist with inputting of New accounts to ERP system
  • Assist VP of Credit and Sr. Credit Supervisor as required.
  • Perform any related task by respecting Sika Canada Inc.'s quality assurance procedures.
  • Assist with Audit requirements

 

Your expertise - Our strength

  • Education: Post Secondary with Accounting background
  • 2+ years of relevant Accounts Receivable, Credit decisioning experience.
  • Must have excellent computer skills and high level of proficiency in Excel
  • Must possess strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently with providing high level of proficiency and attention to detail
  • Enrollment or recent graduate of CCP program though Credit Institute is an asset.
  • Follow Sika Canada Inc.'s training on all procedures applicable to his/her functions (SMS, environment, health and safety).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual is an asset
  • Must have the confidence to support own credit decisions.
  • Must be able to make timely decisions.
  • Must be a good team player.
  • Accurate and detail oriented.
  • Good organizational / planning / priority skills.
