- Direct all warehouse operations in compliance with company policies and procedures – to include supervision, training, safety, scheduling labor, coordination of equipment maintenance and work orders, and assisting with other departments as necessary.
- Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. Assign and review the work of others. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Oversee and participate in the receiving, unloading and inspection of shipments for damage and conformity to purchase order specifications and packing slips; notify Logistics Manager regarding any shortages, damaged goods or other discrepancies. Plan storage locations; determine proper location of raw materials and finished goods to allow for maximum space utilization.
- Serve as a lead over warehouse functions; train and provide work direction and guidance to assigned staff; prioritize work assignments; participate in the hiring and screening of new applicants as necessary; coordinate breaks and lunches for assigned staff ensuring company policy is being followed.
- Oversee and participate in outbound shipments; ensure that all pick/loading operations are completed per company policy; cross check outbound shipment to ensure loaded accurately and product is of proper visual quality; notify the Logistics or Plant Manager of any quality, customer, carrier or personnel issues. Process shipment paperwork as necessary.
- Oversee and participate in inventory control processes: daily finished goods cycle counts; weekly raw material cycle counts; seconds inventory management; yearend inventory; packaging and warehouse supplies inventory management. Participate in the review process for warehouse procedures.
- Direct and implement safety rules ensuring all warehouse operations are conducted safely. Participate in warehouse maintenance: daily forklift checklist, communicating equipment issues to Plant Engineer. Oversee and participate in housekeeping functions: maintain order and cleanliness of warehouse and loading areas.

Your expertise - Our strength
- EDUCATION: Technical aptitude and analytical skills required. One-year certificate from college or technical school; or four to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide multi-digit numbers. Ability to use these operations using units of weight, measurement, volume, and distance. Must be able to read and use a tape measure accurate to 1/16”. Ability to calculate figure and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- OTHER QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS: Good oral and written communications skills. Patient attitude towards people with varied temperaments. Good leadership skills and a positive attitude. Ability to provide support to subordinates. Good computer literacy – Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point. Reliable, trustworthy and keen on details, time conscious, self-motivated, team player and committed to serving customers. Forklift certified. Valid Driver’s License – (class “B” licensed to be obtain in specified period.).
