Purpose of the Role

End-to End Factory Production Operations “functional” accountability for 1 Week – 1 Year

The Opportunity:  

To ensure Leeds Production (teams, systems &methods) understand & deliver all short, mid and long term business requirements for EHS, Customer and Cost.

  1. To build a capable and engaged team with development and succession plans that meet today's + 1yr business needs
  2.  Deliver all functional QEHS, Customer & Cost KPIs in line with annual business needs *exceeding prior yr performance*

3. Create & deliver rolling 1yr strategy & execution plans for functional areas (aligned to business & investment strategies)

Your expertise - Our strength

1. Management of factory EH&S including behaviours, procedures & compliance

2. Large-team management methods & requirements in the factory environment (inc ER & Team building)

3. Factory & production processes - inc Lean manufacturing and best practice techniques (S&OP, VM, Kaizen etc) as essential

4. Management operational expenses budget up to £5m p/a

5. Change management of £double-digit capital investment projects as the Operational Factory instigator, justifier and RP

6. WMS, MRP & ERP systems e.g. SAP. Plus operational B.I. / data analysis and steering.
