POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Specifications Executive in the Building Systems department at Sika, your primary responsibility is to proactively manage the specification and maintenance of Sika products within key architectural and structural design groups, interior designers, and select property owners. The specification team plays a crucial role in providing information, resolving issues, and fostering relationships to ensure a top-tier response to every customer's needs

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Manage designer accounts assigned by the specification manager, working with Architects, Engineers, Consultants, Developers, and Government Departments.
  • Organize and optimize visit plans based on customer importance, opportunities, and long-term business impact, with regular submission of visit plans and reports to the Specification Manager.
  • Maintain customer and project data in the Salesforce® system, ensuring it is always up-to-date and adheres to standard requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for Sika products and solutions in significant-size projects, calculating Sika Potential Value and actively managing product specifications from the design stage.
  • Build and strengthen relationships between Sika and clients to ensure Sika is top-of-mind and specified within the top three choices for projects.
  • Encourage and contribute to new initiatives that enhance productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction within the specification team.
  • Collaborate effectively within the team, demonstrating professionalism, positive engagement with colleagues, and leadership in the initial steps of the sales process.
  • Act as a knowledge bridge between customers and the company, ensuring a deep understanding of Sika products, their specifications, principles of use, proper application, and managing customer expectations regarding service standards.

Your expertise - Our strength

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related fields.

Experiences and Background:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the construction business.
  • Strong foundation in construction design and specification works.
  • Direct experience in construction-chemical specification is an advantage.
