  1. This role covers whole of Korea which consist of 3 factories including R&D lab and 1 headquarter office.
  2. Provides expertise in all key EHS and Sustainability programs across Korea and proactively drive continuous improvement.
  3. Ensure company is compliance with national and local environmental, health and safety regulations.
  4. Collaborates with factory operations and local leadership team to lead and drive improvements in organizational EHS program/system, culture, awareness, and accountability.
  5. Conduct incident / accident investigations and develop corrective and preventative action plans.
  6. Provide leadership, support, and training to build technical, management and leadership skills of the Korean EHS Team.
  7. Partners with Sika’s group/region EHS team to support achievement of Sika's EHS strategy.
  8. Support and develop safety and health related activities and programs.
  9. Full responsible with the Korean SAPA (SERIOUS ACCIDENTS PUNISHMENT ACT)
  10. Coordinate/Harmonize between Sika’s EHS policy and Korean SAPA

Your expertise - Our strength

  • You are a professional who brings up experience in safety and health regulations in health and safety management in a multination company, 7 to 10 years of experience are required.
  • Industrial Safety Engineer Certificate (산업안전기사)
  • You graduated from a reputable university with a bachelor at minimum.

(Chemical background would be preferred)

  • You have excellent English skills and a business conversation.
  • You have good computer skills. MS Office proficiency is preferred.
  • SAP, ERP etc. business application experiences are plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are necessary.
