  • Ability to follow directions from Lead Hand and/or Supervisor with regard to the coating department.
  • Responsible for moving sticks (per work order) from the staging area to the area of operation.
  • Able to determine whether sticks will be coated in the standard coating jig or the “Ultimate Coating Jig”, or whether sticks are to be coated in the form of sheets; and set up accordingly.
  • Ensures the correct stick with the right dimensions (i.e. type of foam, cut depth, etc.) is selected for coating per work order.
  • Ensures the correct silicone is used as per the work order.
  • Able to follow coating charts and outlined coating procedures.
  • Must be able to perform all appropriate operator maintenance and fill out the necessary log sheet as required.
  • Ensures all work-in-progress materials during and/or after the operation are moved to the appropriate staging area.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, or more with a helper
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Ensures compliance with company procedures and policies
  • Performs all duties in accordance with health and safety work requirements
