Responsibilities & Opportunities

Emseal, A Sika Company, is a manufacturer of premium sealants and expansion joint systems for the commercial construction industry and many specialty market applications.

This position provides the opportunity to be the primary I/T applications developer and support contact for current and future business systems.  This role will support various business applications, design and implement improvements to operating policies, and expand I/T support coverage for the company.  This role will report to the Director of Information Technology.

Annual Salary Range: $100,000-$125,000 based on education, experience, and qualifications of the applicant. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support of xTuple ERP system and any associated subsystems, including implementation of future upgrades and migration from an on-premises to a cloud-based environment.
  • Support of Configure One configuration/quoting system.
  • Assistance with support of Salesforce CRM system primarily supported by a Sika corporate team.
  • Manage internal sales and financial reporting processes.
  • Solve problems, create tools, and train colleagues.
  • This role does require work outside of normal business hours in order to meet goals and minimize business impact.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field.
  • Business and I/T experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Experience with an ERP system is required. Experience with xTuple ERP is preferred. Experience with Configure One or Salesforce is a plus.
  • Database administration and support experience with relational databases and SQL tools is required. Postgres experience is a plus.
  • Commitment to customer service and excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to move between diverse types of tasks, and the desire to do so.
